Guidelines for battling the Gatekeeper

In order to ascend to the next level, you must first battle and defeat a gatekeeper. These are bosses that guard the gates between each level. Below are some guidelines you must know before posting a thread in this board.

1. To battle a gatekeeper, you must purchase a ticket from the Meta Shop corresponding to the gate you are challenging. Tickets cannot be used twice; if you lose, you will have to buy another one.
   
2. Battles are RP unless specified otherwise, by either the will of the member challenging or the staff member being challenged. The staff has little stake in these battles, and therefore will not strive to be unfair or cruel in the battles.
   
3. Battles that surpass 2 pages will be considered 'Concluding,' in which staff members will take harder measures in order to stop the fight, as to prevent a 10-page stalemate.
   
4. In entering these battles, you forfeit the rights of your character's life to the staff member you challenge. Upon losing, your character's life will often be spared, but it will not always be the case.
   
5. Members will not be briefed on who the gatekeepers are or what tactics they use in battle. Refer to past topics for this information.
   
6. The limit for characters in one gatekeeper battle is 3.
